Description

Testa Conserve’s Filetto di Sugarello celebrates the horse mackerel (Trachurus trachurus), an oily fish known for its tasty and nutritious meat, rich in omega-3 and protein. The horse mackerel, fished in the Mediterranean Sea (FAO Area 37.2.2 and 37.1.3), is artisanally processed to maintain its natural tenderness and flavour, following the traditions of Sicilian cuisine. The preservation process in high quality extra virgin olive oil enhances the taste of the fish, adding a touch of Mediterranean flavour.

The complete production chain, from fishing to processing, is guaranteed by the food company Testa Conserve, which operates in accordance with a Hygienic Safety System according to the HACCP method and in compliance with current regulations.
